Renesas Electronics RL78/G14 Series MCUs
Renesas Electronics RL78/G14 Series Microcontrollers (MCUs) are the high function general-purpose microcontrollers that consume low-power and are suitable for motor control, industrial, and metering applications. These MCUs balance the low level of consumption current (CPU: 66μA/MHz, standby (STOP): 240nA) and 51.2 DMIPS (32MHz) high calculation performance. The built-in high-function timer of these RL78/G14 MCUs supports three-phase motor control using three-phase complementary PWM output. The RL78/G14 series offers on-chip oscillator, data flash, A/D and D/A converters, and comparator among other circuits. These MCUs are capable of providing IEC/UL 60730 safety standards to the household appliances through built-in safety features.Features

- 4KB and 8KB data flash memory
- Background Operation (BGO): Instructions can be executed from the program memory while rewriting the data flash memory

- Power management and reset function:
- On-chip Power-on-Reset (POR) circuit
- On-chip Voltage Detector (LVD) (Select interrupt and reset from 14 levels)
- Data Transfer Controller (DTC):
- Transfer modes: Normal transfer mode, repeat transfer mode, and block transfer mode
- Activation sources: Activated by interrupt sources.
- Chain transfer function
- Event signals of 19 to 26 types can be linked to the specified peripheral function
- Serial interfaces:
- 3 to 8 channels CSI
- UART/UART (LIN-bus supported): 3 or 4 channels

- 8 to 12 channels 16-bit timer
