Vishay / Dale IHXL1500VZ-3A Automotive Through-Hole Inductors

Vishay / Dale IHXL1500VZ-3A Automotive Through-Hole Inductors are AEC-Q200 qualified and feature a high-temperature rating of up to +155°C. The high-current IHXL1500VZ-3A comes in a 38.1mm x 38.1mm x 21.89mm package and features improved core material for a 20% reduction in core loss compared to previous IHXL-5A models. The metal alloy construction of these Vishay / Dale commercial inductors provides excellent magnetic shielding and high thermal conductivity to minimize hot spots. These inductors offer a flat surface for mounting a heat sink or an active cooling cold plate. The IHXL1500VZ-3A handles high transient current spikes without saturation. Applications include automotive high-current battery charging, brushless DC motors (BLDCs), DC-Link filters, and more.
