Texas Instruments LM5168FEVM Converter Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments LM5168FEVM Converter Evaluation Module (EVM) is a fully assembled and tested circuit for evaluating the LM5168. The LM5168 is a 115V DC/DC fly-buck regulator that employs synchronous rectification to achieve high conversion efficiency in a small footprint. The evaluation module operates over a wide input voltage range of 20V to 115V (120V absolute maximum) to provide a regulated 10V output at up to 0.25A with a 750kHz switching frequency. An additional 10V floating output is supplied through the fly-buck topology. The output voltage has better than 1.5% set-point accuracy and is adjustable using an external resistor divider. The module design uses the Texas Instruments LM5168-Q1 synchronous buck converter with a wide input voltage range, wide duty-cycle range, integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs, advanced overcurrent protection, and precision enable.

Features

  • Integrated synchronous rectification
  • Low operating quiescent current
  • High efficiency at light loads
