STMicroelectronics STEVAL-MKI230KA iNEMO Inertial Module Kit
STMicroelectronics STEVAL-MKI230KA iNEMO Inertial Module Kit incorporates the STEVAL-MKI230A main sensing board, a STEVAL-MKIGIBV5 adapter board, and a flat cable. The STEVAL-MKI230A main sensing board includes a square PCB that mounts the ISM330IS 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope with embedded ISPU. The main board connects to the adapter board via the flat cable to make it compatible with the STEVAL-MKI109V3. Furthermore, the sensing board can be directly attached to the system to be measured through the supplied adhesive. The ISM330IS is precisely soldered in the center of the board.
The STM STEVAL-MKI230KA iNEMO inertial module kit plugs into a standard DIL24 socket. The kit delivers the complete ISM330IS pin-out and arrives ready to use with the required decoupling capacitors on the VDD power supply line.
The STEVAL-MKI109V3 motherboard supports the adapter and includes a high-performance 32-bit microcontroller. The MCU functions as a bridge between the sensor and the PC. This makes it possible to use a downloadable graphical user interface (Unico-GUI) or dedicated software routines for customized applications.
