Renesas Electronics Battery Operated Camera Solution enables edge AI object detection and classification with an optimized boot and power scheme to promote long battery life. To further reduce power consumption, the system remains completely off until motion is detected in the field of view. The first good image is captured within 500ms after motion detection, with Linux boot completing in three seconds. The Renesas Electronics Battery Operated Camera's AI and image analysis start after boot, allowing for object classification in a fraction of the time of a normal system boot.
