Lumileds LUXEON HL4X High-Power LEDs

Lumileds LUXEON HL4X High-Power LEDs offer maximized lumen output performance and increased system efficacy with high driving current capabilities. These specially designed high-power domed emitters are suitable for outdoor and industrial applications like streetlights and high bay luminaires. LUXEON HL4X provides maximum lumen outputs and overall system efficacy in an industry-standard 3535 package with a 3-stripe footprint. Perfect for cost-efficient single optic, directional fixture designs, Lumileds LUXEON HL4X LEDs deliver plenty of light in a small LES device and can sustain high drive currents.

The LUXEON HL4X emitter has an indium gallium nitride (InGaN) LED chip mounted onto a ceramic substrate. The substrate provides mechanical support and thermally connects the LED die to a thermal pad on the bottom. An electrical interconnect layer connects the LED chip to a cathode / anode on the bottom of the ceramic substrate. The ceramic substrate is overmolded with a silicone dome.
