Guerrilla RF GRF6411 Step Digital Variable Gain Amplifier (VGA)

Guerrilla RF GRF6411 Step Digital Variable Gain Amplifier (VGA) is a SPI-controlled, 31.75dB range amplifier that provides precise stepping in 0.25dB increments. This amplifier includes a special Rapid Fire™ selection pin, which allows the device to be immediately switched into a predefined attenuation state. The GRF6411 digital VGA supports a 50MHz to 8GHz frequency range while still maintaining flat gain and precise, monotonic gain stepping. This amplifier minimizes the glitching to < 2dB for all steps. The GRF6411 digital VGA is available in a compact 3mm x 3mm QFN-16 package. Typical applications include wireless infrastructure, automotive cellular and V2X compensators, high-performance gain trim, and AGC loops.
