Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX17242EVKIT & MAX14243EVKIT Evaluation Kits
Analog Devices MAX17242EVKIT and MAX14243EVKIT Evaluation Kits provide a demonstration and development platform for the MAX17242 and MAX17243 Step-Down DC-DC Converters. The Analog Devices MAX17242 and MAX17243 feature integrated MOSFETs and operate over a 3.5V to 36.0V input voltage range. They can also operate in drop-out conditions by running at a 99% duty cycle. The converters deliver up to 2A (MAX17242) or 3A (MAX17243) output current, generating fixed output voltages of 3.3V and 5.0V. They also can program the output voltage between 1V to 10V. The devices use a current-mode-control architecture and can be operated in the Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) or Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) control schemes. The Analog Devices MAX17242EVKIT and MAX14243EVKIT Evaluation Kits operate over a wide 3.5V to 36.0V (MAX17242EVKIT) or 5.6V to 36.0V (MAX14243EVKIT) input range. The output is set for 3.3V at 2A for the MAX17242EVKIT and 5V at 3A for the MAX14243EVKIT. The Evaluation Kits come with either the MAX17242ETPB or MAX17243ATPA/V+ installed.
