MIL-C-83522 ST Connectors & Couplers

L-Com MIL-C-83522 ST Connectors and Couplers are ruggedized fiber-optic interconnect solutions designed to meet MIL-C-83522 requirements. The product family includes ST connectors and couplers available in nickel-plated brass or stainless steel constructions, with multimode and single-mode options. These devices are engineered for environments where resistance to temperature changes, shock, vibration, and corrosion is essential. L-Com MIL-C-83522 ST Connectors and Couplers are available in locking and non-locking configurations. Locking versions incorporate locking washers that help prevent accidental optical disconnects, while non-locking versions employ a higher-force spring to reduce sensitivity to mechanical shock. Both styles feature a keyed bayonet latch for simple engagement and disengagement, and a screw boot design that eliminates the need for a separate boot tool.
