Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EV4582-QVE-00A Evaluation Board
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EV4582-QVE-00A Evaluation Board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP4582 synchronous step-down DC/DC converter. The board supports a wide 12V to 100V input range and delivers up to 2A of output current with internal compensation. Power-Save Mode (PSM) and an ultra-low 8μA quiescent current help achieve high efficiency across a broad load range.
The MPS EV4582-QVE-00A operates at a fixed 400kHz switching frequency and allows selection between PSM and Forced Continuous Conduction Mode (FCCM) for reduced output ripple. The board offers typical efficiency up to 94% and peak efficiency up to 96.5% under specified operating conditions. Additional features include internal soft start, Power Good (PG) indication, integrated MOSFETs, and support for evaluating high-voltage power conversion designs.
