BD1837 12-Channel LED Drivers

ROHM Semiconductor BD1837 12-Channel LED Driver ICs provide an integrated solution for automotive and consumer electronic LED lighting applications. These serial input-controlled constant current drivers offer 6-Bit LED brightness adjustment on each channel. Global Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) allows 0.1-100% dimming on all outputs simultaneously on the ROHM BD18377EFV-M. Selective PWM allows 0.2-99.2% dimming to specified outputs on the BD18378EFV-M. Protection features such as open, short load, and overtemperature detection increase longevity and reliability. The settings of all internal registers can be read out to verify written information at any time.

BD18378EFV-M Constant Current LED Driver IC

ROHM Semiconductors BD18378EFV-M Constant Current LED Driver IC is an advanced 12 channel LED driver IC with 8V output rating. This IC provides 6-bit current calibration for each output, and fault detection during LED deactivated state. The BD18378EFV-M performs diagnostic (open/short/temperature) check to detect LED failure and over temperature on a chip. This IC is AEC-Q100 qualified and is available in a HTSSOP-B28 package. Other features include 4-line SPI control, limp home capability, true LED voltage measurement, and open drain fault indicator. Applications include automotive illumination, ambient light, and consumer electronics illumination.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.
