In medical technology, a variety of devices need to meet strict guidelines and must always work reliably. Schaffner offers a variety of EMC/EMI filters that meet the highly demanding requirements associated with these applications. The filters help ensure the proper, continuous and safe operation of medical devices. These filters feature up to a 250V_AC voltage rating and have a maximum permissible leakage current of 0.1mA in normal operation. TE Connectivity / Schaffner Filters for Medical Devices include EMC/EMI Components, Power Line Filters, and EMC/EMI Filters.

Power Line Filters for Medical Devices

TE Connectivity / Schaffner Power Line Filters for Medical Devices pass the desired input of 50/60Hz power frequency and block the flow of "noise." All filters provide a high conducted attenuation performance (based on chokes with high-saturation resistance or high-permeable core material) and great thermal behavior. TE Connectivity / Schaffner Power Line Filters for Medical Devices meet IEC61000-4-2 ESD, IEC61000-4-3 radiated susceptibility, and IEC61000-4-8 magnetic field requirements.

FN 3287/3288 EMC/RFI Filters

TE Connectivity / Schaffner FN 3287/3288 EMC/RFI Filters are based on an innovative filter topology with state-of-the-art EMI attenuation. These filters ensure compliance with Class C2 or C1. The FN 3287/3288 filters come in a slim book-style shape that saves space and allows for installation next to inverters, converters, or motor drives. These TE Connectivity / Schaffner filters act as solid safety connector blocks and are available in HVIT, IT, and low-leakage current versions. The FN 3287 filters offer standard attenuation performance, while the FN 3288 filters provide high attenuation performance. Typical applications include process automation equipment, 3-phase power supplies, low-leakage current requirements, and IT power distribution networks.
