ams OSRAM Smart Lighting Engines are part of the ams Cognitive Lighting™ family of products that enable the Internet of Awareness™. These lighting engines achieve this through the combination of embedded sensing, sensor hub functionality, and autonomous management capabilities. IoT smart lighting adapts to the surroundings to deliver energy efficiency while meeting the aesthetic and quality of light needs of the users and spaces it serves. The surface-mount, LGA-20 packaged devices operate from -40°C to +85°C.

Mini TOPLED® LEDs

ams OSRAM Mini TOPLED® LEDs have been tailored to the demands of public and private passenger transport for high brightness and high quality. These LEDs combine pleasant white light with a much longer lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. OSRAM Mini TOPLED® LEDs are among the most economical on the market, consuming only 0.1W. From an operating current of 20mA, the Mini Topled achieves a typical luminous intensity of 1700mcd at a color temperature of 4000K, and 1900mcd at 6500K. Luminous intensity in candela corresponds to luminous flux in lumen emitted by a light source in a particular solid angle.

AS7220 Smart Lighting Manager

ams OSRAM AS7220 Smart Lighting Manager is part of the Cognitive Lighting™ family of products that enable lights to adapt to human lighting and energy conservation needs autonomously. The AS7220 XYZ chromatic white/color sensing provides a mapping to x, y(z) of the CIE 1931 2-dimensional color gamut coordinates. This AS7220 sensor integrates standard observer filters into standard silicon via nano-optic deposited interference filters, which deliver high stability over time and temperature. The AS7220 sensor LGA package includes a built-in aperture to control the light entering the sensor array. This AS7220 connects to standard 0V to 10V dimmer inputs and drives 0V to 10V dimming ballasts/drivers to enable a highly cost-effective white tunable current-steering luminaire design. The AS7220 sensor operates in the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
