TEQ-40WIR Ruggedized 40W DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power TEQ-40WIR Ruggedized 40W DC/DCC Converters are EN 50155 approved for railway and transit applications as well as industrial requirements where a robust DC/DC power source is required. These 40W isolated DC/DC converters deliver up to 91% efficiency while providing protection against short circuits, overvoltage, and overtemperature. This series is chassis mountable and provides increased EMC immunity against surge, burst, radiated, and conducted disturbances. These TRACO Power units are encased in a rugged metal chassis with a heatsink construction for a high level of thermal performance and a full output power operating temperature range of up to +83°C with natural convection cooling (+92°C with power derating). These converters have an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage ranges with output ratings of 5VDC at 8000mA, 12VDC at 3330mA, ±12VDC at 1670mA, 15VDC at 2670mA, ±15VDC at 1330mA, 24VDC at 1670mA, and ±24VDC at 830mA.

Railway & Transit Ruggedized DC/DC Converters

TRACO Power Railway and Transit DC/DC Converters are qualified to EN 50155 and EN 61373 standards as well as UL 60950-1 approved. These converters are additionally certified to IEC/EN/UL 60950-1, and several product families in the TEQ series also carry UL 508 certification for demanding Industrial requirements. The product offering covers 3W to 300W, with PCB-mount units from 3W to 240W and chassis-mount types covering 20W to 300W. These converters offer continuous operational input ranges that exceed the defined input voltage ranges of EN 50155. The DC/DC converters have galvanic isolation up to 2250VDC (input-to-output or input-to-the-case).
