Standard FASTON Receptacle Terminals

TE Connectivity's (TE) Standard FASTON Receptacle Terminals are tin-plated brass terminals and high-temperature nickel-plated steel terminals in straight and flag configurations with various crimp barrels. Low insertion force is supported due to a design allowing the mating tab to mate with a rolled edge rather than a sheared edge. Standard FASTON receptacles are performance tested on the sixth mating cycle, not the first, to permit disconnection and reconnection without replacing terminals. Standard TE's FASTON terminals with the 2D crimp allow users to standardize on four terminals to cover a full range of wire sizes, potentially increasing productivity by reducing the need for multiple changeovers. The 2D standard FASTON receptacles are backward compatible with existing housings designed for F crimp FASTON receptacles.

FASTON Electrical Quick Connects

TE Connectivity's (TE) FASTON Electrical Quick Connects offer speed of application, uniform reliability, and low per-line cost. Products include flag receptacles, straight receptacles, wire crimp tabs, printed circuit board tabs, and board-mount tabs. Features include a locking action and a contact area that increases the contact surface and locks the tabs and receptacles at the proper insertion depth for firm retention. The portfolio includes standard products, as well as low-insertion-force terminals, high-temperature terminals, low-profile terminals, and more. A complete line of application tooling has been developed specifically for these terminals. Crimping dimensions for each terminal are precisely controlled so all connections are identical in performance. TE FASTON Electrical Quick Connects are available in insulated or uninsulated versions.

PIDG Terminals

TE Connectivity's (TE) PIDG Terminals are designed for uniform reliability in the most difficult circuit environments. These terminals consist of tin-plated copper or tin-plated phosphor bronze body for spring spades, plus a copper and color insulation sleeve fitted over a terminal barrel. The specialized design of tool dies and the terminal construction allows for uniform insulation thickness under crimping pressure, transmitting this pressure evenly to the center of the crimping area. TE's PIDG Terminals are ideal for instruments and controls, lighting, power supplies, panel boxes, lifting equipment, motors, and appliances, as well as transportation and aerospace applications.
