These sockets come in four designs: PCIE 3.0, PCIE 4.0 (PCIE-LP), PCIE 4.0 (PCIE-G4), and PCIE 5.0/6.0. The PCIE 4.0 (PCIE-LP) solution has a low-profile design for space savings, while the PCIE 4.0 (PCIE-G4) solution features a slim body design, and the PCIE 5.0 solution offers differential pair signaling. Samtec PCI Express Edge Card Sockets mate with 1.6mm thick cards and have vertical, right-angle, and edge-mount options.
