HTEC8 0.08mm Rugged High-Speed Edge Card Sockets

Samtec HTEC8 0.08mm (.0315") Rugged High-Speed Edge Card Sockets are designed to allow more lead-in for the mating PCB. The tips of the HTEC8 contacts are completely hidden behind the chamfered entry in the plastic insulator body, which is especially helpful when mating with lower-cost blunt-edge PCBs vs. PCBs with chamfered edges. This design is also helpful when the manufacturing processes present less-than-ideal assembly or PCB mating circumstances. The HTEC8 connectors are available with up to 200 positions and optional weld tabs for additional mechanical strength on the board. Samtec HTEC8 0.08mm (.0315") Rugged High-Speed Edge Card Sockets accept 1.60mm thick PCBs and are PCI Express® (PCIe) compatible, RoHS compliant, lead-free solderable, and UL recognized.

The number of positions ranges from 10 to 200, while the mounting angles include straight, right, and vertical.
